A summary of the Al Menha Shriners Car, Truck, And Bike Show. it started out slower than normal due to rain, Most of the venders were inside but three that cooked food. There were burgers, hot dogs (ball Park),Turkey Legs, and baked goods. Rain stopped at about 12:15 so everyone started drying their cars, setting up displays, And shining wheels and tires. everything from a 39 ford to dragsters, top fuel, 57 Chevy's, To imports, and Domestics. I think about 45 classes total, and about three car clubs. Money raised from Shriners go's directly to the shriners hospitals and burn centers, Also they had a great display of trophies and a huge american flag. Jason Sullins one of the Co-Founders of Project Mayhem got first place in Modified Mustang 95 to present, and ladies choice, And Brian and Selena Rozzo the other two Co-Founders won first place in modified import 85 to present. Farthest distance went to Columbia, Jason is from Clarksville,Tn. I guess there were about 75 cars all in all, Compared to 3 to 400 the Norm. But we had fun talked to alot of people, Had young and old interested in our cars. Also we talked to people about our sponsorships, and discounts we get, Which is a great way to start out and get free or big discounts on parts to build your car.....and they thanked us "Vets", I am a Vet and Jason is currently active duty with Ft. Campell Army base. Jason is still in for 8 more years, Thanks Bro for all you do... Freedom rains! Coverage by Brian J Rozzo Co-Founder Project Mayhem Car Club. |
