10/24/09 Theres nothing like the shine of an old school hot rod glistening in the carolina sun after a fresh rain. Today ECS showed up in Rock hill,SC for the 1st Annual Dixieland Cruisers Classics Show at the Hooters just off I-77. Boy were we glad we made it there, as the cars shut down the Hooters parking lot and the lots of the surrounding businesses. There were many magazine quality restorations and superb backyard rods on display. But the main goal of the day was to raise money for charity, in this case, breast cancer research. The show was quite succesful in that over 5000 dollars was given to the a representative of the local hospital at the end of the show. Not bad for the 1st annual show, huh?
