Well the beginning of FREAKSHOW 9 looked like it would be a wet/cold miserable weekend.But the rains went away friday morning just leaving clouds.Also there were unexpected guest greeting those of us who attended this years show,THE NC HIGHWAY PATROL, decided to crash our little party and give anyone with window tint tickets or any other infraction they could find.Saturday morning roll in they were there again,but atleast we were also greeted by the sun and little warmer temps. The show was as big as always with rides coming in from allover the east coast and further.The split fields seemed to be a big success this year,with the show/family field on one side and the freaky field on the other.I saw alot of old friends and met plenty of new ones at this years event.And for the first time in along while everyone got along,there were no confontations between clubs,which is the way it is supposed to be.The saturday stage events were the big draw as usual,with the superfreak contest being the crowd favorite.Then sundays freestyle dirt burnouts,even though not in the mud as usual was still pretty good,with the guys from hell bent,or as they said,"A BUNCH OF REDNECKS" dumping all there water from bottles coolers or what ever they could find trying to make some mud put on a good show,"YEEEEEEHAAAWWWW". Well if you didnt make it down because of weather or economy I took plenty of pics to show what was there,enjoy.Cant wait for next years show to come,but for now,lets get ready for the WCT to start.
